Not really, we have great local bands which makes up for it a bit. Big bands come here quite a bit, especially rock bands. Metal bands like Korn & Metallica come here too. I just wish bands I listen to would come, guess there's not enough support to come down here
.And ironically when I was living in Germany for 3 months RAMMSTEIN (my favorite band) was doing a tour in the U.S. I just can't get a break

I know I'm going to sound ignorant here but I really have no idea what South Africa is like. I picture it a far shot from NY. Honestly I think wide open plains, lions and zebras. Have you ever been here to the US? I'm interested to hear what S.A. is like.

lol, yeah a lot of people think that. But no, no wild animals running around. We have wildlife parks, reserves for the wildlife. I live in Johannesburg which is the biggest city in Africa. It's quite similar to any other city really.
Yeah I've spent some time in California studying & working. I go there for a month or so when I have the money & they have good Art workshops with artists I like. I would love to go to New York someday though.
